Top 100 Misspelled Words

Here is my unofficial collection of the most frequently misspelled words in the English language. I've chosen words that tend to appear often in newspapers, magazines, and everyday conversation rather than obscurities that only turn up in Scrabble games and spelling bees.

Have somebody quiz you on these by saying each word to you out loud. If you get more than a few wrong, you might be interested in this fun way to improve your spelling ;-)

If you found all these too easy, you might like to move on to some slightly more difficult spelling words.
